Looking for information on my G-Great Uncle, Alexander D. McBroom. He served in both the Confederate and Yankee armies. He enlisted with Herrell's Bn. Ark. Cav. C.S.A. on
March 3, 1863 in his home county, Madison Co. Ark. I think
at some point he was forced to join the Yanks in 1st Ark.
Inf. Regt. Co.B, U.S.A. at Lexington, Missouri and was later executed at Fort Smith, Ark. He died on April 21,1865.
Would love to have any information to clear this up.
