I just found a different Lewis Williams, or maybe the same and he fought for both sides?? He is listed as a private in the 21st (McCarver's) Arkansas Infantry Regiement - Confederate side. I would appreciate a lookup on this one before I order the service records of Lewis Williams from the 3rd Cavalry Union side. I would hate to order the wrong records. Thanks so much! Peggy
