Re: VA markers

Hello.
Thank you for your kindness and the man's name. It is appreciated.
To be honest, I need some guys to help me out on a dedication for a man from the 7th Tenn. Cav-you know, Nathan Bedford Forrest and the 7th Tenn Cav., CSA-those "bad dudes" that fought like no others.
Wish it would be possible to have a horse in the dedication some way if only being held. Do they ever do that?
I will write Mark and see what we can get worked out though it will probably be next spring before we do the dedication. I am wanting some of the man's relatives to be in attendance, etc. and nearly everyone of them lives off though they once all lived where I do now.
Lt. Wm S. Herron's marker that I got through the government is outstanding. I was so impressed. I never dreamed it would be soooo nice. To folks who have thought about getting a marker and have not, I would say, go for it.
Thanks a bunch.
Linda
