THe 3rd annual Saline County War Between the States relic and gun show will be held on October 9th from 9 am - 3 pm at the Shoppach House Historic site in downtown Benton, AR. It is located at Main and Military just SW from the KFC and directly across from Ashby's funeral home.

The event is hosted by the David O. Dodd Camp 619 SCV and the Friends of the Shoppach House. The house is the only survivning antebellum brick home in Saline County and was a key location during the war both for the CS and US forces. The house will be open as well.

There will be a huge collection of weapons, equipment, uniforms, bullets and other militaria, both dug and undug. There will also be other collectors setting up their collections with articles for sale as well.

All proceeds go to the David O. Dodd Camp and the Shoppach House. Just look for the little white church behind the house with the new green roof!
