My G-G Uncle, Irvin Robertson, served with this unit until July 9, 1863. He was captured at that time and as far as I know, no family member ever heard anything about him. This happened at Port Hudson, LA. I understand the enlisted men were paroled a few days later, but the officers were taken POW. My question is, where did they go? If he died in prison, where would I look for his burial place? He was a 2nd Lt. Thanks, Bob
