There was two camps in the winter of 1862 abd 1863 in the Pine Bluff area associated with Walkers Texas Division. Camp Wright and Camp Mills.

Camp Wright was 3 miles north of Pine Bluff on what is now the old US Hwy 79 North. Camp Mills was located on the Pine Bluff to Little Rock road 4 miles northwest of Pine Bluff on what is now US hwy 365 approximately at the city limits line between Pine Bluff and White Hall.

There is no cemetery today associated with either camp.

I would be interested in the details of your ancestor as I have done some research on these camps. Most of the references to these camps in previous published works and studies have made errors in their positions.
