In the fine book "Making Sense of the Civil War in Batesville-Jacksonport & Northeast Arkansas" the author recounts the capture of CSA Captain G.W. Rutherford In Van Buren Co. in May of 1864. I am certain I have read in the O.R. a Union report mentioning the fact that Rutherford was captured, but in searching the many pages I have copied for that time period, as well as an online search of the O.R. at the Cornell Website, I cant find any such report.
If anyone has seen such a report I would appreciate if they would tell me what volume & page it was on.
