My ggrandfather was H.W. McMillan. He served in the CSA first as a 1st. Lt. in Co. A 12th Reg. Arkansas, later as a Lt. Col. in the 33rd Arkansas, he was relieved by election, then served as Capt.in Co. H.,Crawford Regt.,Ark. Cavalry. I also had three great uncles who served in the 33rd Arkansas. They were Capt. Geraldus T. Williams, Dr. David S.Williams who was the senior suregon, and Alexander (Zan) Williams Pvt. who was killed at Jenkins Ferry. I am interested in the Civil War as it relates to the Trans Miss. and od course Arkansas. I have lived in Arkadelphia for over 40 years and have served as president of the Clark County Historical Assoc.
