Hello,

I am looking for information on Hugh Cameron. He served in the Arkansas Cavalry Volunteers Second Regiment for the Union.
He was a LTC, age 35 and enrolled 10 feb 1864 at Springfield, MO.

I think he was the brother to James Cameron who served in the 1st. Regiment Arkansas Calvary, Union. James was a PVT, 28 Jul 1862 Stone Co., MO. He was 28 when he enlisted.

I am looking for Hugh's wife, children, parents and where he was born and when and where he died. I think his father was Franklin S. Cameron. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you,
