I am searching for info on my ggggrandfather Marcus Solon Wilcox. He was born in Gennessee County, NY October 4, 1829. He married Sarah C. Cantrell August 30, 1855 and I have a date of death of August 16, 1884. There is a Marcus S. Wilcox listed as being a Confederate soldier at Wilson's Creek. My ggggrandfather was living in Scott County, AR at the time, but I have found no confirmation that he is this soldier. If you have any info on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
