Hey Linda,
Dobbin's Arkansas Cavalry has some of the worst, most fragmentary records of any Arkansas regiments. I have only been able to locate three muster rolls -- Co. B (August 31, 1863), Consolidated Cos. A-B-F (February 29, 1864), and Consolidated Cos. E-D-H (February 29, 1864). These rolls list only a fraction of the men who served in Dobbin's regiment.
I have put together an unofficial roster of Dobbin's regiment, based on the three muster rolls, prisoner-of-war records, scattered quartermaster, ordnance and hospital records, some regimental and company reports, surrender and parole records, pension records, and soldiers' letters.
Lieut. Fielding Price is listed in my roster. I'm pretty certain he was in Co. H, recruited in White County, but I haven't confirmed that 100 percent yet. A soldier named Pvt Thompson Price served in this company.
I haven't updated the webpage in a long, long time. The page has gotten very unwieldy, and over time has had so many fingers in the pie adding things I can't confirm, that I'm thinking about starting a new webpage, controlled only by me, where I can post accurate rosters, and update them as needed. Jim has agreed to provide space on his server, so it's just a matter of finding the time to do it. When I do that, you'll see Lieut. Fielding Price listed.
