Christene, The Reddells, Robertsons and Vicks in the 14th (Powers) AR. Inf. Regt. Co. K, were all intermarried and relatives of mine. Add Ruffs to that list, even though there were none in the 14th. My great-great grandparents were, Vincent Robertson and Charolette Reddell. Their daughter, Cynthia Ann Robertson married Jonathan Wesley Ruff, thus, my great-grandparents. If you look at the Searcy Co., AR. census of 1860, Richland Township, you will find the family of Jonathan W. and Cynthia Ruff next to that of Benjamin and Delila Vick. The Vicks, Ruffs, Reddells, and Robertsons were all neighbors. The 1880 census still shows them as neighbors even though some had died. In 1900 some of their descendants still lived as neighbors there. Oh, by the way, I was born in Richland Township, Searcy Co., AR. By that time it had a post office called, Eula.
