Re: Vick and Reddells-Conf Burial

Christene, Both Charolette and Delilah or Delila, (I find it spelled both ways), were daughters of John David Reddell. Probably half-sisters since there were over 20 years difference in their ages. Charolette was born in Union Co., IL. Delilah in Giles or Lawrence Co., TN. John David Reddell had at least 2 wives, the last being the mother of Delilah, Mary Cook. He had 19 children all together. The only marriage I have for Delilah is to Benjamin J. Vick in about 1849, in Lawrence Co., TN. In 1880 the census of Searcy Co., AR. shows Delilah living in the house of James Rackley. I believe him to be a son-in-law. I know where the Hall and Hendrix Cemeteries are, and two others that I don't know the names of. Both are across Richland Creek from the others. All 4 in same general area. Oh, by the way, I'm a member of Gen. JO Shelby, camp #1414, Sons of Confederate Veterans, in Harrison, AR.
