Shucks, Doyle, I never even considered the possibility of a software problem.

I think I'm going to go ahead and shop around for a new computer though. Mine is old, slow and battle-scarred. I need more RAM, a larger hard drive, a faster processor, and maybe one of those USB memory stick thingies (sorry to use technical jargon) that I've been reading about.

Of course, I'm still going to be hanging it on a slooooow dial-up internet connection, putt-putting around at 28.8 kbs. That's all I can get out here.
