Hey Scott. Thanks. Trust me, it is my pleasure and I wish I could do more. It was a surprise to say the least when I was presented with the newspaper article. It is interesting to see how, 27 years after the war, so many veterans congregated in the Clarksville area. Of course many had been from here and many had moved in later as evidenced by the many from Georgia, Alabama, Texas and South Carolina. I thought this was important from not only an historical standpoint but also from a geneological one as well. The flag story at the end is pretty well documented but the rest wasn't. Anyway, I hope someone will have some use for it. I'm not that good of a typist!
