I agree. Cleburne was an outstanding oficer. It was too bad that the Army of Tennessee had to lose such officers as Cleburne, Gist, Granbury, Strahl, Adams, and
Carter. It seemed that the good Generals of this army were either killed or were driven from its ranks by the petty jealousies of less capable men.
