Please keep it coming. This is great stuff, as usual. And, as you have pointed out, a necessary primer if one is to grasp the duplicate [and multiple] designations of Akansas regiments.

Once upon a time, while we were discussing the 40 series regiments, you promised a more detailed review of the workings of the state board as it pertained to all the numbering puzzles. So I am looking forward to more discussion, right on down the list.

Now, If I can only keep this danged computer on life support a few more days, until I can rob the piggy bank [or sell my golf clubs] and spring for a new one. Yuk.
