Thanks, Ray. The history of some of these Arkansas regiments reads like those long, awful, complicated, Russian novels by Dostoevsky that we had to plow through in college.

When I was writing this one up, it suddenly hit me--Darn, I forgot about the "other" 1st Arkansas Battalion. Now I've got to write another sketch.
