I have seen that biography on the internet before. My study of the Dawson's 19th Arkansas centers around the time that the 19th spent at Camp Shavers from April, and the raising of the new recruits, such as Pvt McMullen, until they left September of '62.

Camp Shavers was a part of the Camp White Sulphur Springs Divisional camp, commissary and Hospital complex of General John S. Roane command 9 miles from Pine Bluff.
