Could anyone tell me some history about horses or mules used in Arkansas during the early
Civil War? I am an author writing another book, a sequel to, "The
Drifters: A Christian Historical Novel About The Melungeon Shantyboat
People." My story will be fiction but I want real researched history to place my story in, like the first book. November is completion date for my MS. Do you suppose you could direct me to this information and also any paddle boats used connected to Arkansas history during 1859-1861?
