Hey, George -- haven't seen you on the ole Arkansas board in awhile. Welcome back.

I don't know if this will help or not. William L. Kilgore enlisted in Co. H, 33rd Arkansas Infantry, at Arkadelphia, Arkansas, on May 18, 1862; and was mustered into Confederate service at Camp Hindman, near Camden, Arkansas, on July 8, 1862, for three years or the war. He was discharged on a surgeon’s certificate of disability at Camp White Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, on August 14, 1862. According to his discharge, he was a farmer, age 26, born in Georgia, unmarried, and a resident of Clark County, Arkansas. He's listed in the 1860 Clark County census, which places him in the general area you're interested in -- Fordyce is only 40 or 50 miles from the Clark County line.
