Thanx for ur reply. I have no doubt that u r RIGHT !! on what happened to Seb. Either trfd w/ gunsmiths r walked off Have thot that all along as we can find no trace of him for yrs between LR's fall & when he came bk to LR some yrs ltr to go into business. I kinda think he went over the hill as scads of them did @ that time & that he headed bk to Tex as that's where he was when he enlisted & served w/ US Army. As I told Doyle...he apparently did not get a pension from CSA.Also...w/ ur obvious wide knowledge of CSA...can't u suggest a web site where I could find his date of birth as recorded by CSA ? Sure would 'preciate it !!!

Also, forgive me, but must correct ur spelling. In ur eml to Doyle u only spelled HALF a word in ur use of "yankee's" Ha ha Thanx, bill
