puzzle for Bryan re Griffith bro-in-laws..???

Hi Bryan -

do you have any details/info on these soldiers in the 17th and 11th/17th Ark.????

Am wondering if one or both of the Weavers MIGHT be future-brother-in-laws of Colonel John Griffith.

Am also wondering if one of the Weldons listed MIGHT be the husband of John Griffith's future wife, Mary Catherine Weaver Weldon....????

Weaver, A.G. ----Co. C 17th Ark. Inf. Sgt/Pvt
Weaver, John P. ----Co. C 17th Ark. Inf. Pvt/Pvt
----Co. I 11th/17th Ark. Inf. Pvt/Pvt

Weldon, Henry ----Co. H 17th Ark. Inf. Pvt/Pvt
Weldon, W.W. ----Co. H 11th/17th Ark. Inf. Sgt/Sgt

Curious if the John P. Weaver might actually be John F. Weaver..???

Tentative speculative hypothesis: John Griffith met/knew of his future spouse because of men who served under him in the 17th and 11th/17th Ark. Inf. (????).

Guess some 1860 census searching will also be useful for testing above hypothesis.....hmmmmmmm.....

thanks,

yer pard & v.o.s.

Ken
