Bob,
The only operating railroad in Arkansas during the War ran some forty miles from Argenta (North Little Rock) to Devalls Bluff. While it did cross Bayou Meto at three points there were no population centers between the two on the railroad (Brownsville was about a mile north of it). Chances are that the Railroad Hosptal would have been located at one terminus or the other.
