Re: CSA Conscription

My Henry Counts live most of his adult life in MS, live in 1850 for a very short while in AR, then back to MS. Every census shows his age some years difference, but his death certificate shows he was born in 1818. After his second wife died, he moved to western OK and lived with his daughter, he is shown on the 1910 census as living with there, but when he died in 1914 in Yell Country AR, he was living with another daughter that was living in Plainview and provided the information for the death certificate. I'm sure that if he served, he served out of MS, but just trying to prove he did. There are a couple of Henry Counts' that served out of MS, is there somewhere I can write to find if he did serve or filed for a pension? I've been told that pension records list more information and I could prove it he is one of the Henry Counts that served.
