Andrew Walker who deserted June 2, 1862

I am wondering if the Andrew Walker who is listed as having deserted from Josey’s 15th Arkansas Infantry could be the younger brother (Andrew Jackson Walker) of William Luther Walker and John Wesley Walker who both served in Crawford’s Cavalry and of Garland Williamson Walker who served in the 33rd Arkansas Infantry. Andrew is the only one of the four sons of William Walker who does not have an obvious Confederate service record. In fact, I have found him on the Texas census listed as Anderson Walker in 1870, and the birthplace of his 7-year-old son seems to indicate he came to Texas between 1860 (when he was on the Arkansas census) and 1863. Does anyone have any additional information on this Andrew Walker in Josey’s 15th Arkansas Infantry, Co. D., who enlisted at Napoleon, AR on May 7, 1861 and deserted on June 2, 1862? Would this unit have recruited from the Ouachita County area? Thanks for any insights on this.
