Bryan,

Thanks for the explanations and the comments. I'm currently in my "spare time" (when I can gen an hour or so) entering Civil War men buried in Fort Smith National Cemetery into the SUVCW national database. The book our library has only states "Civil War" so I'm using pension records along with rosters to prove each man's service before entering. I can get about 20 guys per hour. Slow going, but it keeps adding to the database.

At our SUVCW camp meetings, everyone has been pushing me to start reenacting. Last meeting I stated that on a good day, with unlimited computer access, I can add up to 60 veterans per hour to the database. That's a bunch of additions when compared to a weekend spent reenacting. I finally, to put it bluntly, shut them up and got them off my back:)

Again,

Thanks!
