Re: John H Pruitt died in Little Rock during Civil

In all likelyhood He is one of the 900 plus Confederate soldiers buried in a mass grave at the National Cemetery in Little Rock.

There were several Hospitals in Little Rock in 1862 and many of the seriously ill Camp Nelson soldiers were sent these hospitals most notablely the St. John's College Hospital.

The dead from these hospitals were buried in several different cememtery in Little Rock such as Mount Holly Cemetery but later were moved to the masss grave site I mentioned. That is how their names became lost, as I understand the story.
