Re: Pea Ridge
In Response To: Re: Pea Ridge ()

I noticed in this thread reference to Halliday's Co. D, 26th AR Inf. Reg. of both Centreville (Bradley Co.) and Pine Bluff ...

- I have reason to believe that two Cleveland Co. first cousins with the same first name, same middle initial and same last name had their service records mixed up. Is it possible, during transcription of the original roster that one of them was omitted, the transcriber believing them to be the same person?

Also, is it indicative of anything that the first of the Company Muster-in Rolls gives "Centreville, Bradley Co. Ark." as place of enlistment by A.G. Greenwood; the next three give place of enlistment as "Bradley Co." - two by A.G. Greenwood and one by Capt. Halliday; and the last two give place of enlistment as "Pine Bluff" by Capt. Halliday, one giving date of death.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Sharon
