I wasn't looking for a complete list from any one person. I just figured some folks might post a few that they knew that were here during the CW. Maybe they had family stationed here and were proud to say that their relative's regiment was here during the CW.

Who knows, by doing this we might all learn something that never got recorded in the OR's. I know the OR's don't cover everything that went on and neither does alot of the regimental returns. About the only record of some things is the letters, diaries and accounts of folks who witnessed what went on.
I have been through the OR's searching for name places several times over and have most... if not all of what I need from there. Glad you posted the link though as I haven't seen the OR's from the Navies as of yet.

I was also thinking about posting about name places that folks often wonder about where they might be located. Maybe folks would like to ask where something is located and then other might be able to tell them.

Hopefully someone will want to tell about the family that was here.
