It really is fascinating. In the Florida situation, Gen. E.E. McCook summoned in a pastor and, in his words, "Christianized him." Apparently the pastor had given a sermon urging his congregation to accept the current state of affairs, to work together with their fellow man and to follow the teachings of God. He did not, however, offer a prayer for the President of the United States so McCook reprimanded him.
