Re: 1890 Veteran's Census - Sebastian County

Sandra,

I didn't know that. I thought the 1890 Veteran's Census was universal. Huh? Thanks for the response. This man William Henry Jones is my gg-grandfather. He was an East Tennessee Unionist from the Chattanooga area. From 1870 through 1880 I cannot find him on a census, though his wife and first child, living in the household of his mother-in-law, I can find in 1870 in Chattanooga. I have his service record and pension files, but I was hoping he might show up on an Arkansas 1890 Veteran's census, just as another piece of documentation as to his whereabouts.
