Doyle, thanks so much for the link to the Miears narrative. Even though his memory was faulty on some of the events he wrote about, there is a lot of good stuff there. It's too bad the chapter on Chickamauga is missing -- I've searched high and low for years for a list of 3rd Arkansas casualties at Chickamauga and have come up with zip. I can make assumptions based on comparing muster rolls before and after September 1863, but assumptions aren't facts.
