Many will not step up and agree with you, but I do.
Your courage in saying so even in this day and time is the act of a person who still honors his heritage.

a.)Lt. Fielding Price, 1st Arkansas Cav. CSA who died in the Yankee Prison in Little Rock on Feb. 1, 1865 leaving a young widow with a houseful of children and one on the way
b.)Sgt. J. D. Pearce who served with the 8th Arkansas CSA and was wounded on the first day of Shiloh, but survived and fought all over the South, later the gunsmith at Lonoke
c.) James Thomas Harper, 5th Tenn. wounded at Shiloh but lived to fight another day and later of England, Arkansas
d.) the Guthrie boys,the 10th Arkansas CSA, Owen who was wounded at Shiloh and died, and Frederick who was captured at Natchez, my ggg uncles, both died serving the Confederacy
e.) Frank/Francis Vaughan, my great grandmother's double first cousin who lost his arm at the Battle of Helena, and was later a judge in Little Rock and is buried at Mt. Holly
f.) Wm. Robinson Vaughan, formerly of Little Rock who is buried at Mt. Holly and who was my gg grandfather whom the Civil War broke more ways than one
