Another enigmatic "Little"
In Response To: Re: Samuel R. Little ()

Dr. Henry M. Dye, a Texas surgeon at Princeton, AR, describes treating a J. S. Little of Co. A, Gause's Regiment following the battle of Jenkins' Ferry. While there were some "Littles" in the 32nd Arkansas Infantry (Gause's), none of the muster rolls indicate that any of them were in the regiment at the time of Jenkins' Ferry. While the muster rolls could be in error, does anybody have any other info on a J. S. Little of Gause's Regiment?
