Jim, did I miss something? Or did you delete the offending post? If you did, thanks. The Arkansas board is, in my opinion, head and shoulders above most other Civil War message boards in its decorum and scholarship, and I would hate to see it diminished by boorish posts (as we've seen happen on another board I don't care to mention).

So far, the worst that can be said about this board is that it sometimes edges close to being a chat-room. I'm as guilty as anyone of occasionally chatting, but it's hard to avoid sometimes because the posters are friends and colleagues and it's just so darned enjoyable to talk to them.
