Thanks, Bryan. I've been fortunate to acquire a M1860 Spencer Carbine identified to a trooper in the 3rd Mich. In trying to track the course of its use in the war, I came across a reference to Brownsville Station but no mention of specific location. There does not appear to be a surviving community, at least on my map. Do you know what community might be close to the historic location?
