Thank you, Anthony. I had wondered if that was where they went, since their older brother was eventually there, too. The first roster I found E. C. Malone on was for Company B of the Camden Knights, organized in Camden in 1861 (in The Garden of Memory, compiled by Mrs. M. A. Elliott, Historian of the H. L. Grinstead Chapter of UDC, Camden, Arkansas). There are other names of men that I noticed on that roster that were also eventually in the 11th, such as J. J. Haynes, Edward Malone's cousin. I also noticed that J. L. Logan was the captain of that company.
