Bryan, Thanks again. I took six guys in my California "3rd's Co E" unit this past March 16 -18 to Shiloh 150th event. We fell in with 1st Arkansas combined with 14th LA. It was great. We would have liked to gone up to Pocahontas after Shiloh, but we couldn't fit it in the schedule. [We all work.] Since I don't know the Arkansas area well, I thought there might be a local preservation of a Confederate Training camp, similar to Camp Moore. I'll try to get portaits of Hardee and Cleborne. I came across a reference where Hardee personally drilled the Brigade that was formed including the 3rd Confederate Rgmt. Amazing.
