I'm not criticizing you and I hope you won't take it, as such. You have provided a link to some outstanding information. However, Bryan's work has been plagiarized or copied, without acknowledgment, all over the internet. He is too much of a gentleman, many times, to ask these people who copy his work to remove it or, at least, acknowledge its source. I think if you take a look at this page:

and compare it with the Company "A" information from the page you referenced, there is no doubt that the Ed Gerdes Original Arkansas Civil War Homepage is the source of this info. The people who have "pasted" this info in their page have probably not done it maliciously or even with any understanding of copyright or "fair use" laws, but they really should ask the Ed Gerdes site and/or Bryan Howerton before they publish his work.

Let me repeat Lee, this is not a criticism of you and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your transcriptions of old newspapers and documents and other research and help you provide on these sites. I just wanted to recognize Bryan for his years of work that has compiled these Arkansas rosters and service records.
