I thank you for your time to respone to my request.
I also had a g-grandfather that served with the 29th Infantry Co.I He joind in 1863 I know he was under Gen. Cantrey and Gen.Shelby I think he was in the battle of Reseca may14- 15 and in new hope church may 26 so it is good to hope that he was not in Arkansas in may 1864 Isaac Carter CSA James E Willians 4th cav. U.S. Isaac was one of the less than 90 that surrendered at Greensboro N.C. on April 26 1865. again thank you KC
