I read your other posts and realized I probably did not give you the information you were looking for. Thomas McCray was all over Arkansas and other states during that time in the Civil War. In 1864 he was under the command of General Jo Shelby. He was behind Union Lines conducting raids on Union supplies and recruiting reluctant volunteers back into service. Also there was a Gen D. McRae in the same area. So..........he could have been in Woodruff County during 1864.
