According to Ingmire (Arkansas Confederate Veterans and Widows Pension Application), Elizabeth Anderson, widow of “Passon” Anderson, applied for a pension (2414) from Stone County, Arkansas. Passon was a member of Company B, 6th MO CAV, and he died in October 1864.

I found a Harrison Passion Anderson in a contributed family tree, born 18 OCT 1827, Wayne County, TN, died October 1864 during the Battle of Little Blue River. According to this source, he was a member of Company B, 6th (Coffee’s) Missouri Cavalry. I have not been able to verify this information, and I could not find Harrison Passion Anderson (or James Passion Anderson) in that unit. The pension application reveals that he served only in 1864.

This man appears in the 1860 Izard County, Arkansas, census as “Passon” Anderson, with wife Elizabeth, and children Jesse, Neely (Cornelius), and Louiza. Elizabeth appears in the 1870 Searcy County, Arkansas, Census as the head of household, indicating widowhood, along with her children Neely, Louiza, and Mary E. This agrees with the contributed family tree.
