I did not know you were a travelling man! Smithville Lodge # 29 here. I have heard stories about the distress signals, but have never known of actually used by family members. That is a very touching story. Certainly symbolizes that human kindness can rise above even war and hatred, and a symbol of the Creator's unfathomable love for mankind.
