27th AR inf. in Pocahontas

Looking for any official records associated with this unit around the winter of '62. I have an ancestor Paul Rose who was in Co.F and died there of disease. His parents were Silas and Rachael "bratton" Rose and lived in Baxter County at the time. I dont know if he was buried up in Randolph County near the camp at Pocahontas or if Silas had him brought back home. I have heard that Silas has a nice confederate headstone (served with son in the 45th AR. Militia) where he and his wife lay to rest but there is no mention of Paul with them. I want to make sure his grave is properly marked.

I have sent for his war records, have a little history of the 27th and a great book by Silas Turnbow who served in the 27th and recounts his movements. He confirms that there was a lot of sickness at pocahontas. I have searched the "official records of the war of the rebellion" and cant find anything as to what they did with the men who died there.
I know I have posted a similar question a few years ago but I have more to go on then I did then and maybe someone may have stumbled acroos him in their own search.

I appreciate any and all help/suggestions,
Rick
