M. Horn & M. Samuels ~ Jewish ~ Arkansas ~ CSA

I'm looking for information on the following 2 soldiers:

(1) Marx (Mark?) HORN

His government headstone reads:
[Star of David]
MARX HORN
Willett's Co
Ark
Provost GDS
CSA
1830
1870

(2) Mark SAMUELS

His government headstone reads:
[Star of David]
MARK SAMUELS
Died
Sept 30 1870

They are both buried in Pine Lawn Jewish Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas.

The US Census of 1870 shows them living at the same address in Baxter Springs, Kansas.

If anyone knows where I can find more information about them (rank, where they served, copy of CSA service records, etc), I'd be most grateful for the information.

MTIA,
Kate
