Dear Mr. Cox, Incidents at Roseville were what piqued my interest in Arkansas Civil War events. I have been told that my G-G-Grandfather, John Rodgers, was killed in April of 1864 at Roseville, "shot by bushwackers". Following suggestions from contributors at this site, I found references to raids at Roseville and at one site there was a reference to a bushwacker named Titsworth being a possible leader of a raid. John Rodgers was killed within weeks of having signed the loyalty oath. I've wondered if the two events are connected. He left a widow, Orpha, and twin baby sons. Joe Martin
