I know what you are talking about. I am sure that Parson's himself for the most part wasn't at Fort Pleasant. Althought I do have some letters of Texas Cavalry who had excaped Fort Hindman being at Fort Pleasant in February and March '63.
I know Parson's mostly was stationed at Jordan's Plantation and patrolled the mouth of the Arkansas and Mississippi rivers after the fall of Arkansas Post and protected the operations of Henry Merrill at Arkansas Post during that period.
But he makes referrences to Hawes, Daniel Frost, and John Walker and the the Headquarters of the def. of the Lower Arkansas River headquarters, which was at Fort Pleasant and Pine Bluff. So it is going to take some time to sort out between the two places called Silver Lake, which orders individually is from where and what their import was.
That is the reason that I said that these orders are going to be interesting.
