David Hardy Henderson - Born abt 1838 in Mississippi and died sometime after 1860 in AR (presumed). The 1860 US Census shows him living with his mother, Rebecca, and his brother, Jethro, in Pulaski County, Arkansas. He also had two other brothers living close by in Pulaski (Richard and James Henderson). Family oral history says that he fought and died in the civil war. However, I can not find any record of Civil War military service listed in the usual repositories, either Union or CSA - nor can I find a record of David Hardy after 1860.

Was wondering whether or not anyone reading this may have run across the name while researching - a long shot, I know, but thought that I'd give it a try anyways.
