Hey, Linda. No he isn't on the Shiloh casualty list. Most of the Shiloh casualties of the Arkansas regiments were taken to Corinth, where they either died, were furloughed, were discharged. Only the most seriously wounded were still in the hospital when the town was evacuated, and only a few of those were sent to Tupelo.
Most of the sick who were hospitalized and/or died while at Camp Priceville suffered from various diseases. Measles had pretty much run its course by then, but chronic diseases owing to bad water, poor camp sanitation and sub-standard rations took a toll on the Arkansas regiments during the period after Shiloh.
